Output Power (dBm) 12.5 -1.2
Attainable Rate (Kbps) 83367 21278

Or maybe my cabinet is reduced SNR cos of more taken in or due to crosstalk?

Openreach will be extending their 'trial' of the variable dB and new DLM algorithm from Monday 16 January to select cabinets on the following exchanges (below).

A few points here though:

- ECI cabinets are excluded (I assume the new DLM is not fully tested/supported yet).
- Any line that has had the existing DLM intervene, due to poor performance, will be excluded from being moved over.
- Around 10% of lines are expected to move to the new XdB and DLM algo.

I appreciate the information but its a case of "no surprise" with the ECI cabinets as rolling out 3db without g.inp is risky.

why do you want 3db? you have a max sync anyway.

I suppose so! But I start to worrying now because my Sync Rate might reduced pretty soon or later because of Attainable Rate have dropping slighty since 2014. Before used to be 113675k but now at 83367k. The SNR also drop too since 2014. Before use to be at 13.7dB now at 6.0dB.

You're syncing max rate anyway right? So makes no difference to you...

I guess you show that SNR of 7.7dB is equivalent to about 33Mbps.

If you get a target of 3dB, your attainable is likely to increase by 12Mbps - ish.

I wonder why the remote system would lower the SNR if the line in question already achieves max sync ?
Surely it would be better to have a little built in stability ?
