Does /any/ of this make sense?

Having posted a polite 'you're talking drivel' response I thought I ought to ask the experts here what they thought of this post. This poster has a track record of making weird claims but maybe they are right this time?

Reading a couple of posts from that guy he looks like someone who may vaguely work in IT and thinks they know what they are talking about.

I can't say the most recent few posts evidence this. Quite the opposite actually - https://community.plus.net/t5/Plusnet-Feedback/Why-w...

Probably someone relatively new to the field, maybe spent ages on nerd forums beforehand, may even have done a degree, who hasn't yet realised just how little they know in the grand scheme.

I can empathise with that - reminds me of me a good decade and a half ago. Wow I'm old frown.

EDIT: Wow this is scary. https://community.plus.net/t5/forums/v3_1/forumtopic...

I note this guy really likes playing the 'I work in IT' card too, which speaks volumes to be honest.

When people use the 'I work in IT card' I tend to doubt anything they say even more.

Most DSL/broadband stuff is less to do with IT and more to do with electronics and physics anyway

Can confirm (don't ask for a source), he's talking absolute drivel. Makes you wonder what he's looking at that makes him think he's right though.
