FTTP ISPs

[link to this post]

With my BT FTTP contract due up in a few months I was wondering if there is any more news on additional ISPs coming to market FTTP services over Openreach's FTTP network. It seems we're still limited to BT Retail, Zen and Andrews.

I had hoped with the ongoing wider rollout of Openreach FTTP we would see more ISPs offering a service.

Plusnet, Cerberus too ... but you’re right, it is a sadly short list.

Why not email the CEO of the ISP you’d wish to use on FTTP and ask them ?

Plusnet only offer it on a trial basis to existing customers.

They way around it is to sign up to ADSL first then apply for the trial, though obviously if you're on a new build with FTTP only that isn't an option...

That’s not an especially helpful selling point is it ?
