Fibre equipment on poles

[link to this post]

this was added a few months back, i believe (and despite it being outside my house)i've only just investigated it crazy blush

But is this on a non copper dp pole

https://ibb.co/exmvfA

can i assume this is the small 4 port fibre equipment, because it was installed very very quickly?

For reference this is the basic road outline and some of the houses (with basic pole arrangement.)

Why do say it’s a ‘non-copper DP pole’ ??

There is clearly a copper DP and a copper joint on what is a joint user pole.

The CBT blocks come with a tail already fitted, thus saving time to install.

the green pole is the copper dp, told to me by bt engineer (that i'm supposed to be connected to), when i asked him. the picture taken is not of that pole but the one outside me.

So why would i be connected to a dp thats further away ?

sorry just getting excited too quickly. I'd rather ask and make a plonk of myself rather than not asking and others asking the same Q tongue

Your new link is a 50pr universal clip joint. Your original showed an MC31 joint. Same kinda thing though.

As to which pole you are connected to for your copper, then one would kinda need to see it all in person for a definitive answer.

Pending no disasters with vdsl i will ask the guys once the fibre install happens about that tongue (when that occurs is anyone's guess)
