0800 number

[link to this post]

I see that Plusnet have now launched an 0800 "FreePhone" number to contact them.

Can we use the same number to contact "MAAF"?

AFAIK, we're planning on extending 0800 number supprt to MAAF, but it will be done as part of a later 'phase' of the 0800 project.

Rgds,

Thanks for the update Bob.

Do you know if there is still going to be a revamp to the madasafish website ...... again maybe part of a later phase?

Bob, I sent feedback to MAAF yesterday regarding 2 calls I made to Customer Service back in June when you were making some changes to the system and a large number of customers lost their connection. The two calls cost me £2.84 using the 0844 number, because I had to abandon the first call then had to wait a long time to get through the second time.

I had a reply to my ticket this afternoon, to say that I would not be reimbursed and:
Please do not hesitate to get back in touch online at http://www.madasafish.com/contact/ or by phone on 0844 395 0830 if we can be of further assistance.

Talk about rubbing salt in the wound.

Seriously, an 0800 number would be a good move. Just wish it had been in place in June.

Indeed. I think ieatbeans will find 0114 296 5161 would have worked.

Thanks guys. Yes, I would have used the 0114 number, but as my broadband was down, I couldn't go onto the SayNoTo0870 site to find it. Rest assured, it is now in my contacts!

We've still got a lot to do WRT the Plusnet 0800/0345 numbers, so haven't made a start towards offering similar on MAAF yet I'm afraid frown
