Options beyond MAX Premier?

[link to this post]

Last month, we bought our son XBox Live access.

Last month, our broadband usage shot up from about 20-30GB per month to 50.65GB.

I suspect the two are related wink

We're already at about 20GB usage this month, so are likely to go over the 50GB limit for our MAX Premier package. There is nothing on the website for options above and beyond MAX Premier, but I don't want to get stung for £2 per GB.

I have put usage restrictions of 2 hours per day on the XBOX, but what are my options? Are there any 'hidden' packages or will I have to move ISP? Even Plus.net only seem to offer 60GB.

You can get 120GB through trials.plus.net (well you could, doesn't seem to be working right now) or 250GB on Fibre.

It may be worth you switching over to Plusnet, you could then take advantage of the extra usage and also there is a free period of use between midnight and 8am.

You can let me know and I can arrange it for you if you decide to go ahead with that.

Won't he have to move to Plusnet before he can do that?

Hmmm... Problem solved...

It apears I've been seeding a Debian build for the Raspberry Pi for several weeks! I normally use uTorrent software, but had used the BitTorrent client on my NAS drive for this one for some reason, and it had carried on seeding.

Today's usage is 273Mb, as opposed to 2-3Gb for the last few weeks!

I've not even loaded the image onto the Raspberry Pi - using it as an XBMC client using raspbmc instead...

D'oh.
