Domain Transfer > Out

[link to this post]

What is the best/cheapest way to arrange a tranfer from maaf to TSOHOST.

I have an account with TSOHOST plus another domain etc so no issue there, it's dealing with maaf/PN who will be the registrar that could be a headache as I'm sure they will want a large payment for processing the transfer.

An explanation in simple terms would be best laugh

TIA

Edit :-

Just did a WHOIS query on Nominet and the domain is still in my name and expires Feb 2015 however it states "No registrar listed", what now? confused

Your best bet is to do it through Nominet for £12 (incl VAT) - see http://www.nominet.org.uk/uk-domain-names/manage-you... - because MAAF charges rather more than this (£25 I think). The "no registrar" is odd but try the transfer anyway. You might need to create an online Nominet account if you don't already have one. I am sure that TSOHost will be helpful if you run into problems.

Hi there,

Has your account been cancelled/downgraded recently? It sounds to me like the domain has been 'de-tagged'.

If that is the case then Kevin's right, you'd need to approach Nominet directly.

If you want to drop me a PM, then I'll take a better look when I get a spare moment?

Rgds,

The above post has been made by an ISP REPRESENTATIVE (although not necessarily the ISP being discussed in the post).

That link doesn't work for the world at large - I think you need to be logged in first

Have had use of the domain for some weeks now after some minor messing about by Nominet.

Thanks BP for your assistance.
