First post so please be gentle.
I have been a customer of Orange for quite a few years. I found the Livebox not good but bearable because it gave me free calls on the second line, but now this has ended I have gone with a Brightbox (and Vonage for the second line).
I find that the Brightbox drops the connection every few hours (as did the livebox). The main annoyance though is that after dropping the connection it never re-connects itself (the green internet light just flashes) and I have to switch the box off and on to get it to reconnect.
Now it may be that my phone wiring in my house is not the best but I have reverted to my ancient 2Wire router which works fine. It does occasionally re-sync but it will always reconnect itself afterwards.
Please could some clever person tell me if there is a way to get the Brightbox to automatically reconnect ?
Does anyone else have this problem ?
