no home phone

have no home phone for a week now , run out of ideas, any help appreciated, phone is on crewkerne exchange,,broadband is ok but a bit slow 2/5 mbs .usually 6 mbs regards mark

One assumes you have reported the phone fault and voice provider is onto fixing it?

If your attenuation has increased it a lot, it suggests one of the wires that form the phone line has broke

yes I have contacted ee they seem to think there is an exchange fault that should be resolved in the next 3.days regards mark
