How bad is traffic management?

I'm contemplating an EE fibre connection, mostly for EETV.

How bad is the traffic management on bittorrent etc? It's the one thing putting me off!

I use BBC iplayer and YouTube without any problems and my broadband connection is not slowed down.

I donít use bitTorrent or Peer-2-Peer (P2P), but I have read the traffic management system will slow the connection down to dial-up speed.

Wow, down to dialup speeds is pretty awful.
