Place your bets

Are we seeing the subtle start of the scheming marketeers preparing for the new generation of console? I posted somewhere recently on the announcement of the possible Xbox "720" chipsets being ready for production in the spring of 2013.

Sounds to me like christmas 2013 could end up being D day. What do we think? Are we ready? I know I am. wink

This is the longest we have waited for Next Generation consoles with Both the Playstation and 360 some 6 years old.

With the toy box Nintendo Wii You or whatever silly name they call it released next year the other two will not be far behind.

I still think that given the right developers and time we get some awesome looking games but something with more horse power is the obvious choice.wink

Hose power is exactly what is needed! I think the current consoles will continue to sell when the new generation machines come out, especially as the price will probably drop to around 100-120 quid. Thats what happened with the ps2 if I remember correctly?

People like me will be the early adopters of the new hardware. I think the recent jump in ps3 sales shows many people have waited a long time for the price to come right down before justifying buying one.

When I think about how much I paid for mine on release day!! I'd do it again mind. Just won't tell the wife this time round. grin
