Thanks mate, I forgot to mention I have actually tried gameranger already.

I managed to convince my friend to install it and when he hosted using it, it worked perfectly (he can host without it too)

When I try to host using it, it fails.

He gets stuck on the screen 'waiting for host' and the program will not auto run borderlands like it is supposed to.

If there are any other ideas at all, they would be greatly appreciated!

[EDIT] The weirdest thing is that when I forst got the BT infinity installed, it worked! No settings were changed and the 2nd time I tried to host it failed.... That is probably the most frustrating thing about this.

Not up on all this technical stuff mate but it seems to be some sort of problem your end which i guess you already know wink.

If i spot anything that may be useful i will let you know,but there are far more qualified people on here that know more about these issues than me.

What you could do is run a utility on your PC to check the ports are open: http://portforward.com/help/portcheck.htm
