What's with this Gaming forum

[link to this post]

Seems like everyone has given up posting,Jaxx seems to appear and disappear like David Coperfield, and even the regular Farmers like Swanny seem to have gone into hiding or he preparing for the spring sowing of his seeds ploughing time...tongue

I've come to the conclusion that the very reason this Gaming forum doesn't seem to recruit new members is because there is very little activity on here and more of a interest if your into your games to actually sign up with a dedicated Gaming forum or site.

It's a shame really as the few guys on here are a laugh and I enjoy reading what others have to say,but occasionally you can go literally days/ weeks and see nothing new on here.

There are plenty of games on the horizon to talk about so it's kind of strange that it's becoming a bit of a dead forum with very in the way of activity...

It's recruited no new members to talk about even though it's been opened up and doesn't require you to actually login and join...

Anyway I'm of to download Resident Evil HD the original Capcom Classic from 1995 reworked a little....Didn't you just love that Mansion and puzzles that went with it...

I'm a relatively new user but I don't post much as I haven't played any games since before Xmas - I have a few that I really must get round to (including FC4) but still don't seem to get up the enthusiasm to play them at the mo.

Plus, the other problem (don't shout at me) is that I bought an Xbone - mainly because the controller feels more comfortable to me. So, most of what you guys do is on PS4 and so not something I can join in with (not that I am that social a gamer anyway - I played WoW for a fair few years and hardly ever communicated with any other players on it). As far as I am concerned other players are there for decoration wink

I have a Xbox One Ian but it's never switched on as I buy the majority of my multi platform games for the Sony P4.

I myself haven't had the passion to play since finishing Far Cry 4. Two weeks before Xmas,a game you must load up and play mate as it's simply superb....

In fact when I put everything else on I own now I'm kind of comparing how throughly immersed I was with Far Cry 4 with everything else and it just isn't doing it for me...

It's been quite a quiet time for gamers since November Avalanche of games, but things are picking up end of month and Feb with the slightly delayed retail copies of Dying light and the Playstation 4 exclusive The Order....

Yeh, was aware you have both but also aware that you almost exclusively use the PS4. I was busy over Xmas so didn't play anything and just haven't found the energy required to get started again. I tend to go through stops and starts with games and will play regularly for a while and then not at all. I'm also historically a PC gamer so the controllers don't come so naturally to me as to those who have been using them for years.

I regularly read this board but don't often post - I have to say with the 4 or so of you that normally post it feels like an old boys club and like I'm intruding wink

You hit the nail on the head mate,3/4 regular who post and not a lot besides, don't feel like it's a old mans boys club though mate even though you could say a few of us are getting on tongue

Join in mate and post whatever you like .....Every little helps ........Try telling that to Tesco at the moment....crazy.

I'm going through a few phases myself regarding gaming, hammering certain games then prefer to just chill and watch TV than gaming for weeks on end.....

No I'm concentrating on the single player story so there is no need for online,I doubt very much you have done much if any of the main story....

I do pop in regularly but i spend most of my time actually playing games , i'm very hopeful i will be adopting a PS4 very soon , so will be more involved in what is mostly discussed on this forum .

But being as my gaming time is split across multiple platforms i also socialise across multiple mediums .

I myself have found using G+ and its integration in youtube is where I have been the most joining communities that reflect my varied interests .

In other words i am about .
