Which is the faster

Would you believe it,now if they can improve on the poor install times they may be making up a little lost ground.

is no surprise really, xbox do way more development on their dash than sony does.

on the game install times my experience is this.

both ps3 and xbox360 slow although most ps3 games cannot be installed, they either copy files to hdd cache as you play them or always read of optical disc.
ps4 is really fast, so fast I think its not installing the full game in the progress bar, I think thats just a progress bar to install enough files to launch the game, I expect it carries on installing in the background. e.g. I can install a 30gig game on my ps4 in about 30 seconds, that must be one hell of a fast hdd and optical drive smile

I agree it must be doing it in the background,a bit like watching a Sky Tv download ,when its 1% done it lets you start watching it.
