Don't forget Nelly wink.

I wonder if there are some type of mates challenge or leaderboards as this isn't multiplayer in it ?

The only time i bought a full digital copy of a game was Dying Light because something deliberately went wrong when the actual disk got delayed for about a month....

How very strange that the retail disk priced at around £37 online was delayed and the game only managed to get its release date for the digital version only clocking in at around £55..........

I was ultra hyped for this game and a few days i would not have minded ,but not 4/6 weeks, thats the only time i would pay the inflated price, and i think at the time Nelly did the same.

Digital distribution i just don't get ? How can a digital game cost £20 more than a actual retail copy that you can at least trade and get 50% of your money back.

I wouldn't mind paying £55 or £60 if you could actually trade it in on the store and buy the next digital game for half the cost.

I buy exclusive digital only games and games from smaller developers that can not be bought at retail,i always choose the retail route when possible.

Ubisoft dev talking about console retail-digital pricing.

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/ubisoft-explains-wh...

A older article but covers the steam pricing- shows how complex it is for digital sales and why certain regions are cheaper then others.

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-weird-ecomomics-behind-st...

Have a read but it comes down to retail console sales still being very high and the stock levels of stores affects the online pricing.
Console sales need to shift online and then pricing will match retail and retail sales will gradually decline.

yeah this has been known a while, they have to keep the stores happy so they promise to not undercut them.

The same does happen on pc for some games, but its way less obvious because a lot of games are digital only. Plus retail stocks tend to be lower.
