help please

just stuck my connection into test socket and my bb has changed to 7 meg sync instead of 6560meg on 6 meg sync speed is 3.5 meg with tbb speed tester when in master it shoots up to 5meg what do i need to change?

Please clarify if it's better in the test socket or not.

Any phone extensions connected to the faceplate? If yes then try removing wire connected to pin 3

put a filtered faceplate on it and plug into there.

its an old type bt master socket the guy/girl with the flute only master phone on that socket and have another socket upstairs it only small. do i need to remove the bell wire on both sockets or just master

On master should be enough - do one end and see if it makes a difference and if no do the other end.

IMPORTANT: Don't cut t, just lift it out of the connector, that way can be reconnected if need be
