Does this have a bearing on 21CN?

[link to this post]

My exchange has no 21CN/WBC/FTTx dates set.

However on Samknows the first LLU operator RFS date has appeared:
TalkTalk (CPW): RFS date set : 06/01/2012

WIll this increase the chances of 21CN on my exchange?

Nope, not one jot, the exchange I use WNNN with LLU x2, sits between these two WNLNS & WNWPL both smaller one with LLU and the other without, both rfs dates for 21cn.

Without forthcoming and seeked knowledge to persuade me otherwise, I strongly believe the favoured method used in such matters, is a map board, a pin and blind fold.

*EDIT* Although Sky unbundled days afterwards on WNNN and WNWPL with no mention of plans or dates anywhere.

I'm alright Jack....

I'm seriously starting to wonder if they are using TBB members' stats as guide. "Stats good? Let's not go there."

Its as good a reason as any other, although I still think they've tattooed a donkey with a map of the UK (sideways) and they play lots of games of "pin the tail on the donkey".

Dunno, but I just checked Dunblane: ESDUN. Apparently we are set for FTTC by December, 21CN by November and Sky/Easynet have joined the LLU party on the exchange.

I don't know when that changed cause last time I looked the FTTC was next year, 21CN was not even listed and TalkTalk were the only LLU supplier.... ????

Reading between the lines, it may give BT cause to push things up a bit in case too many customers jump ship. I'm surprised that such a small exchange as Dunblane has 2 LLU operators and is supposed to be getting 21CN and FTTC this year. Not holding my breath smile

[edit] Just done a search and apparently, according to BT, Dunblane will be the first town in Perthshire to get FTTC. Odd, I thought Dunblane was in Stirlingshire. I have an FK postcode and not a PH one. crazy still, who cares? I'm not really all that bothered. My BB is fast enough for what I do with it so paying more to get FTTC would be a waste in my opinion.

Above average house prices, (a.k.a.) loadsa money. A lot of the earmarked places have been places of higher than average house prices / incomes. It seems FTTx either has to be sold to those able to afford it. What's more, population density in more affluent areas is lower, which means less contention in theory.

Probably also a case of BT going into the places that Sky are targetting.
