BT Business Slow

[link to this post]

hi there, experienced this yesterday at around 20:00 as the same today,
downloading seems to be slow ish at 252KB
tbb-dl-file
but if you look at my ping from yesterday 12.10.2011 the green line rises at around 8pm ,Ping 12.10.2011 and the same for today, 13.10.2011
could this be congestion or throttling?

i thought it was to do with the new ios5 coming out and everyone was downloading it, i did thismorning and it is ace! anyway, could this be congestion related or throttling?

Cheers

Looks congestion like, particularly as in the wee small hours its not as bad.

io5, iTunes 10.5 and hoardes of RIM users using apps via work PC, rather than phone may not be helping.

Given number of pops BT will have, 1 good and 1 bad is still inconclusive.

Hopefully in time we will be able to show aggratte ping graphs, or groups of people by region, to make it easier to spot trends.

Local congestion maybe, not in the overall netwrok though.

I've been on several BT Business connections today from London through to the N of Scotland and all seem to be working fine with speeds at their normal rates.
