Some routers auto re-sync upon any config changes.

1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 17 Meg Untweaked 19 Meg Tweaked WBC

What is the OS in use?

If you had no problems before set it to 1500.

Who's the ISP?

Assming Vista onwards 1500, and don't worry about the RWIN. Pretty sure ISPs set at 1500 these days.
