There's different standards across the world and most devices have different firmware for each region.

Hi, is the question…

Is an ADSL wireless router built to work in any country? One bought in USA could work in Europe for example? Thanks to anybody will give an answer.

As for as I know, an ADSL wireless router will work anywhere in the world if there is an ADSL connection and the computer, laptop or TV has wireless and is within wireless range.

And if you change the power supply adaptor plug from a 120V/60Hz to a 220-240V/50Hz plug?

ADSL over ISDN as in Annex B is generally only a Germany issue.

US modems should work in the UK and most other ADSL countries. Wireless side, just tell it the correct region in the settings and it will restrict the channels as neccessary

You need to be careful about wireless channels.

In some countries it is an offence to have a device capable of transmitting on channels which are not approved. Not using it - just being in possession.
