SNR Dropping, what are my options?

[link to this post]

Hello, I would appreciate any advice on what to try on a connection where speed/connection drops during the day, hopefully I have included the required info below.

It is a BT Business Broadband service connected to the Burgess Hill exchange, via a BT2700HGV router.

Exchange Info
Model: BT2700HGV
Hardware Version: 2701-100589-005
Firmware Version: 6.3.9.63-plus.tm

I have identified that the SNR is dropping from its peak 7.5 to 2.5 and lower during the day I have attached a screen shot from RouterStats. I have tried a couple of filters and am currently using an ADSL-Nation replacement faceplate in the master socket (there are no extensions).

You could well be better off switching from ADSL2+ to ADSL2 only or even ADSL1 (G.DMT) if your router allows you to choose.

Can you get the Sync Speed graph from Router Stats too ...

The jumps could be: resyncs or something local switching on and off - heating, lighting ...

I am strugglig to find that option on the router but will do some Googling, I am also looking for a temporary replacement router to try.

I believe that you cannot select the ADSL mode on the 2700s - just checked two with v4 and v6 firmware and could not see it on either, but I am running both as WAPs
