Peer to Peer Gaming and Peer to Peer file sharing?

[link to this post]

In O2's traffic management policy it limits Peer to Peer file sharing. What does this do? I think it means it limits programs like Bittorrent. Since I don't use bittorrent, will this traffic management policy effect me?

Peer to peer gaming is used in games such as MW3 which I play. I assume it has nothing to do with file sharing? Because to limit that would make gaming impossible on O2.

Am I right laugh?

I don't know.

As an aside O2 non-LLU has a poor reputation. Have you checked with http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange_search as to whether O2/Be have an LLU presence at your exchange?

Well at least you did help me somewhat, so thank you smile Yes I do have an LLU service available.

Now original questions remains standing, is peer to peer gaming affected by O2's traffic management policy

P2P refers to torrent traffic, thus PS3 and XBox 360 gaming is considered different traffic
