Has anyone experienced problems with the speed-tester?
Yesterday I tried to carry out a BB speed test as the Virgin Engineer was booked to attend our premises today in preparation for the broadband speed doubling.
I was unable to carry out the test because a Java software install prevented use of the speed tester. After installation, and re-booting, the same message came up repeatedly -

I cannot carry out any speed testing. I have heard that Java can be a problem and am now experiencing it first-hand.
When chatting to the Virgin engineer, it became clear that the upgrade is not now but "sometime this summer". I had seen no mention of this previously and had thought I would get my speed doubled today.
