Fibre Broadband - Recommendations

We supposedly have Fibre arriving before Sept 2012..

Currently I'm with BE and getting about 4 - 5.5MB. We are easily using 60GB+ per month.
If we had fibre I would expect the bandwidth usage to increase..

There are 5 of us all using the bandwidth and I work from home full time.
Internet access is Vital for my work.

Ideally I'd like a static IP Address but that isn't critical.
So who would you recommend ? ?

From what I've read BT seem to offer unlimited server, but no static IP for around £26 per month.. Is this any good ?

BT or Sky are the only unlimited ones.

Of the usage, how much is time critical (e.g. streaming, youtube, iplayer etc) and how much could be done overnight (e.g. large downloads, torrents, software updates etc)?

Can't say much about BT but i'm with sky there doesnt seem to be any traffic management.

PlusNet Fibre Extra is 120Gb allowance and provides an optional static IP (small one-off fee I believe). How critical is the static IP? Is there an option to use one of the 'dynamic DNS' services?
My own experience of PlusNet is very good but I'm sure others will offer their own opinions.

During the day voip, vpn and large downloads are all needed by my job.

60GB is only half of 120GB, and there is the static IP address for a one-off £5 . The Pro addon mentioned is £5pm to avoid all traffic management.

Anyway, that September date is just a "placeholder". Very likely to slip. I wouldn't waste time and energy thinking too hard yet as all sorts of package changes could happen before you can get it.

Thanks. Looking at the router logs we've used 29GB in 4 days !! so much for my estimate of 60GB per month !!

The internet is used 24/7 so unlimited is probably the way to go for me. Thanks for the advice.

Unlimited has to be BT or Sky .
