Throughput capped?

It's been a few weeks since the ADSL2+ change, and there have been a few blips along the way. All blips aside, when I was on a SNR of 9dB I was getting sync of 13267kbps and throughput of 10.5 / 10.6 Meg. Applying an 83% of sync calc comes back as 11 Meg (not sure if 83% is the proper calc, but when on 8128 sync, I was getting up to 6750 throughput).

Yesterday, my 6dB target SNR reset happened and the sync went up to 14715, but the throughput was still 10.5 Meg. confused

The line has been stable, and I'll probably have a go at 3dB and see what's what, but there seems little point unless the througput will rise. What could be causing the?

Plusnet Extra; pro add-on; upstream uncapped; Fastpath; Annex A; Technicolor Gateway 582n.

See my connection data for the stats (which show the 9dB data - I don't want to change this until the throughput issue is resolved). Upload speeds throughout have been stable, 1 Meg.

IP Profile needs to match the BT Wholesale one at the Plusnet side

I ran a BT test.

Makes little sense imo. Upstream profile and speeds for example. Compare with TBB test a couple of minutes later:

Is it a simple case of a profile reset (is that the phrase?) request?

What does 'current line speed' say here: https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer... ? This figure is the Plusnet profile, it should update automatically (up to 12 hours after the BT profile changes) but relies on something called a 'delta report' from BT which sometimes seems to get lost.

Thanks, but it's not a problem if explained. I have an open ticket with testing of 6dB target and 3dB target yet to come. The profile will sort itself out I presume. I was more worried that it might have been some hardware bottleneck (nothing would surprise me), so the various SNR testing would have been pointless.

Just an update. Now on 3dB and getting 12.6 Meg. Not bad. We'll see if it stays stable.
