IDnetters Forums

Hoping somebody can help.

I've been trying to access the above forum but keep getting the message page that says

"An Error Has Occurred!
Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!
Spammers not welcome here
This ban is not set to expire."

I've never spammed anyone in my life so don't know how I am getting this message.

Anybody any ideas?

Thanks.

Caley.

Are you accessing it from your IDNet account, using a static IP? Or if on a dynamic IP account, it may be that someone has spammed them using that IP previously.

Or there is a bug

Almost certain that your IP address is on a blacklist ...

If you have a dynamic IP, then power off your modem for a while - 30 minutes and reboot - if you get a new IP, try again.

If you are on Static of a sticky-dynamic, then you need to be unlisted. There are users of that forum on here and one will post a link on the IDNetters website.

Thanks a million for getting this sorted and in such quick time.

I don't have a broadband account with IDNet but my telephone is with them. I had joined the IDnetters Forums a while ago and a few months back I started getting the error page accusing me of being a spammer which shocked me.
Thanks to everyone here that problem has been sorted and removed a great worry.

Thank you all.

Caley.
