ADsl2+ Speed Improvement

[link to this post]

In case anyone was wondering! Following on from my previous posting/s it has taken approx 3 months for my connection to return to what it was. My current stats:

System Up Time 671:07:36
Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time
WAN PPPoA 847957 1405154 0 218 3757 129:22:01
LAN1 100M/Full 8336040 6492319 0 685 422 671:05:28
LAN2 Link down
LAN3 100M/Full
LAN4 Link down
WLAN 145M 3777894 1598507 0 1399 76 670:27:27

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Link Rate 19167 Kbps 1223 Kbps
Line Attenuation 17.0 dB 10.7 dB
Noise Margin 2.6 dB 5.2 dB

I didn't bother getting my line reset as I thought I would just wait and see what would happen ie whether the DLM would kick in of it's own accord. It eventually did after the line was stable for about 12 days or so and reduced the SNRM which I thought was permanently stuck. Had a further noise event which resulted in increased SNRM 15.5dB on the upstream only. I just waited to see what would happen. DLM kicked in again after 8 days stability and the above is the result.

After replacing the rounter/s and getting O/H to check the wiring/socket, it was just a matter of wait and see which seemed like an eternity at the time.

Thanks to everyone for their input on my previous post.
