Printing Calculator

[link to this post]

Sorry but I can't think of anywhere else to post this question. If there is a better forum to use please let me know.

Basically you can probably recall seeing calculators that produced a paper report of your calculation session. We have one that is now worn out but can't find anywhere that has a replacement in stock. Yesterday's technology I suppose.

So I wondered if there was a software solution that did the same sort of thing that on finishing our 'calculator' session, we can print out locally a record of our activities. It would certainly save money on rolls of paper and replacement ribbons which are also difficult to source.

Any thoughts from anyone on this please?

I know what you mean.

Although back in the late 70's I had a fill in summer job in an accounts dept. We used those to record invoices. The printed paper was then sent of for "processing" where optical recognition read the characters to enter into the computer system.

If you are only interested in the input, not the output, then a keystroke logger would do the trick.
