Last summer I agreed a new contract with Talk Talk that would give me my existing package plus an upgrade to their fibre medium for an agreed 12 month price of £32.70. After 2 months I received just a partial discount and then since have received no discount at all and have been paying full price ever since. They say that the discount could only be processed in 3 month increments, despite this there was no full discount on the third month of my new contract. As the agreement was not met would I still be obliged to pay an early leaving fee if I left Talk Talk? I have been offered a good deal with Virgin and would seriously consider it if I was not in hock to Talk Talk.
The agreement was made via live chat, of which I still have a transcript copy.
Today they offered me a £10.75 discount for a 12 month period as of today, then changed it to £8.25. Does this mean that they recognize that the contract has not been upheld? As of yet I have not agreed.
