Existing TAG on line?

Hi all,
I ordered Broadband with BT almost a month ago now and they still haven't activated it. They are saying that the order is failing because there is an existing TAG for a broadband order on the line/exchange and they don't know who it's with?

It's a new line that BT installed, is there any way I can find out who the order might be with so I can cancel it? Or any other solutions?

Thanks for any help, am getting desperate!

Openreach has a system that ISPs can use to get tags cleared. Takes a few days from them requesting it. You need to escalate the issue with BT.

I wouldn't be surprised if when the number was previously used the broadband on it was never ceased when the line was. (It should be automatic).

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 59.4/14.4Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

When I've phoned BT they say they've escalated it but I'm unsure if they have. How can I escalate it myself?
