Southern Electric Broadband: good customer service?

[link to this post]

I am currently with Talk Talk and their customer service is dreadful so I was wondering if anybody is with Southern Electric Broadband and if they have good customer service, because I am thinking of joining them.

Thanks, Ci222.

Just wondering what problems you are having?

I have been with TT for some time and get very few problems, any that do occur can normally sorted by using their online forum. I understand their 'phone help is poor so that's why I never use it.

Been with TT for years with few problems. Moved from BT to TT ADSL2 as they offered the best speeds in my area at a good price. Service has been 95% reliable and the few problems I have experienced have been quickly resolved using the online support forums.

Widely recognised that TT telephone support is dire.

Online support furums are of little use if your broadband is down.

Thanks for all the replies. The problem I have is with the external phone line so I don't think I can solve that on a forum.

I think I am going to leave Talk Talk for another provider.

If you perceive you have a problem with line, it would be worth looking at the AAISP website They are best company to resolve.
If there is a line problem, there could also be a phone problem and reported in this way to ISP.

Have to agree with that of course.
The only time in three years that it was down in my area there was an automated message on the phone help line saying that they were aware of the problem. It was not down for long.
I can only speak as I find.
