When compared to results from the tbb speed tester the download speeds were similar enough but the upload result was around half of that from tbb.
It's a long distance to the testmy net servers smile

Yes… I usually get good results from the tbb testers, but I'm fairly sure that if I recommended them to someone in (eg) Kansas he wouldn't be particularly impressed!

I suspect that for someone in New York they might work quite well, but sometimes the routing in the US seems even weirder than in the UK crazy

I have seen how bad it is. Reporting around 8Mbps on a 72Mbps capable line.
