A BBC page bust? (Now fixed)

Look like this page is broken. At least, in IE11 and Chrome.

The indispensable man or woman passes from the scene, and what happens next is more or less the same thing as was happening before.

Works fine in Firefox 39.0, my IE 11 and - wait for it! - Edge.

Fine in IE11 and Chrome too now.

The indispensable man or woman passes from the scene, and what happens next is more or less the same thing as was happening before.

Were you seeing a picture and unformatted text down the left hand side?

I had that for a couple of hours earlier this morning.

Yes. The picture almost at the bottom of the initial display.

I thought that Chrome might be nice until I found that if I alter the shortcuts it re installs itself as it was thus leaving me with two similar looking short cuts.

I alter the shortcuts so that all the bookmarks, history etc are loaded from a different drive.

I can run Firefox quite nicely from a different drive, but sometimes when I click on something it refuses to do anything. I have to try a different browser, usually IE.
