BT Landline Increase

[link to this post]

So BT are once again increasing their Monopoly Rip Off prices.
Suppose it helps pay for the Football.
Maybe Jeremy Corbyn should have a look.

Yep, indeed you can; in most cases a few pence cheaper than BT. However explain to me why other ISPs increase their line rental in the shadow of BTs price hike.

Vivaciti's landline prices are wayyyy cheaper than BT Consumer. Several pounds, not a few pence. More in line with a smallish markup on the Wholesale Line Rental price.

Given the low running costs of line rental from a provider's point of view, more the sort of figure all honest CPs should be charging.

The indispensable man or woman passes from the scene, and what happens next is more or less the same thing as was happening before.

If I own the business for service provider as I will not overcharge to the customers as I will make my company as a non-profit!

To be fair your line rental @ £11.40 per month is very good compare to BT & PN line rental @ £17.99 & £16.99 per month.

Yeah but there's profit and profiteering. Which one do you think BTs increase comes under? I know which.
