BT Shop - oh dear!

My bold:-
The DrayTek Vigor 130 is an ADSL and VDSL modem with an Ethernet connection; it is not a router but a true ADSL/VDSL Ethernet Modem (bridge). The Vigor 130 provides compatibility with all current UK VDSL/ADSL technologies; it has been extensively tested and tuned to provide a robust and reliable DSL connection.

The Vigor 130 is an IPv6 ready compact VDSL2 router with ADSL2/2+ fallback for SOHO and residential broadband access requirement. This compact router ....

LOL yes, I didn't read that bit.

What about "Enclosure : External"? Is the alternative having the casing sitting on a surface with the circuit board lying on top?

Well ........... just a stupid typo really.

The Vigor 130 in the UK is a modem, the thing that confuses people is that this exact same device is sold in much of the world as a router.

In the UK DrayTek specifically set this unit up as a modem for Adsl/VDSL2 connections and to be compliant with BT/OpenReach regulations.

The router capability was removed from the UK models.

It is an extremely good device , mine has performed beautifully.

What a dumb stupid comment.

It is neat and slightly smaller than the OpenReach modems , at the end of the day the only thing that matters is that it does the job .
