Took about a week for my Disclosure to be acknowledged by email. I think my recruitment advisor was on annual leave though.

Thanks bud great help.

In reply to a post by Swanseajack91:
Assessment day for me was set out as shown below

1 - introduction about the company and role explained
2 - we then did the practical which is very easy wiring a household plug (with instructions)
3 - then a colour blind test name the colours from a few wires.
4 - then 2 interviews with different interviewers, I would research ALOT about open reach especially with the new split, have previous situations ready and dont forget to mention health and safety they liked it when I mentioned risk assessment.
5 - All done then found out 2 days later then a 6 month wait to start!

Good luck

Hi guys just come discovered this great forum. I've submitted my application and done the situational strengths test and video interview. How long after after the video interview did you guys get a decision to go to the next stage? I was very nervous during the video interview and feel I was not my best! I wonder if the decision to go to the assessment centre is now based on my CV, situational strength test and video combined rather than just the video alone. Thanks

Just had it acknowledged via email, and they said I would hear from them again a week before my start date to focus training / travel etc. 8th may can't come quick enough now.
