Any routerstats gurus?

[link to this post]

Trying to get routerstats and routerstats lite to get stats out of my tp-link wd9970. I can telnet in and do adsl show info and get stats but routerstats full just wont login for some reason and I have tried all the models for tp-link in lite but get a forbidden prompt in the sys log. Any ideas?

Does anyone remember the program similar to routerstats that used to screen scrape from the router webpage, I think it was adslstats.exe but cant find it in my archive or online. Any pointers think it was Dutch or German written but in English?

It didn't scrape from the webpage. It telnetted in. DMT.

Thanks but thats not it I am sure it was called adslstats.exe a single program that run on its own and you had to type in the column and row of the stats on the web page in order to graph them. I have DMT and all its flavours in my archive and that is a telnet app. which wont work on this router as it is so locked down.

If the device has two network interfaces with the same subnet it may be the software is using the wrong interface - random thought i.e. forbidden is from main router rather than the w9970

Good thought Andrew but Kitz review of the router says DSLStats wont work because the shell is locked down.

I have found the other program it is called ADSL Monitor which is a telnet scraper but it doesnt seem to work because there are no spaces in between eg downstreamSNR63 which is supposed to be 6.3db. It logs in ok but doesnt recognise the word spacing. frown

Screenshot of ADSL Monitor

Heard from John the writer of routerstats and apparently the router uses an embedded webpage and wont work with routerstats.

Edit: Got DSLStats working by using a custom configuration file from Kitz forum.
