No picture on screen?

[link to this post]
Have a bit of a problem, was trying to connect my pc to tv via svideo, it worked but was had a wobby picture, I think this is due to the cable not being able to sit right on card as it keeps falling out as of course it cant be seated with the 2 screws like DVI or VGA.

Eventually it worked quite well so I moved pc back to its correct position next to wall but had to disconnect Svideo temporarily(When powered off of course) when reattached it went bad again, this time it was either wobbly picture or when I wiggled the connector it came up correct but black and white and looked composite.

I accidently knocked out the DVI cable to the proper monitor and when going to reattach it my foot pulled the power cable from the wall.

I reattached both cables and the power and turned back on, the pc is running but windows booted slow but I got no picture past the screen with the moving bar on either screen, I removed the S video cable and rebooted nothing, tried with the DVI monitor disconnected and Svhs connected to tv. still nothing.

However as its attached to speakers I can hear windows booting correctly, and if I go into safe mode the picture reappears on the DVI monitor.

Any ideas on how to sort this?

You've hopefully just corrupted your GPU drivers. Boot to Safe Mode and do a System Restore.

Your wobbly pictures could have been caused by a bent or broken pin on the svideo plug - it's easily done.
