unusual problem

[link to this post]

I have a Dell laptop running win7. Intermittently , say if I enter an address and press the return key nothing happens, the busy circle turns for a while and it takes too long for the new page to appear. If I press the refresh button it seems to speed up the appearance of the new page. I am in two minds if the problem is with the return key on the laptop keyboard or if there is another explanation. Any ideas.

If the circle is spinning then it's not a keyboard issue.

Sounds like it is a DNS issue in looking up the website address. Perhaps worthwhile giving OpenDNS a go to see if it helps with it (some ISP DNS servers are known to have occasional hiccups).

Hi, thanks for the reply. Currently my setup is:get automatically from ISP ( Orange). The only other optio : use these DNS servers, primary and secondary.
So what are the entries I should make.
