24" or 26" Monitor at 1024x600 resolution

[link to this post]

I am looking for a 24" or 26" monitor which will display a resolution of 1024x600 using a VGA connection from a netbook.

Obviously, it can also display higher resolutions, but it must do the low one.

2:1 resolution?

Doubt it.

Hmm. Doubt it. smile

The HP LP2480zx supports 2048 x 1200 (it crops the screen), and has a native resolution of 1920 x 1200.

Prices range from £1,300 to £3,000

Perhaps two strips of tape across the monitor to give a 1024 x 600 effect? wink

See this image for resolutions and how they scale.
