Multi monitor setup

[link to this post]

Hi, I've currently got 2x24" monitors which I connect via DVI to my Radeon 5670.

Looking to finally replace the graphics card and [possibly] get a 27" monitor to stick between the two 24" ones.

So, I'd need 2x DVI and 1x Dual-link DVI. Or some sort of displayport adaptor solution? Not sure really.

Any ideas?

Depends on the inputs available on the current monitors and the new one.

I currently have 3 monitors(27", 26", 19") using DisplayPort, HDMI and DVI as those are the outputs from my graphics card. If the 26" monitors have alternative ports, it'd probably be easier than finding a card with 3 DVI outputs. Newer monitors tend to have HDMI and DVI. Some Dell units have HMDI, DisplayPort, DVI, VGA, Composite and Component (my 27" has all these - pretty useful for testing old hardware).

Yeah, I think the best option is to get a displayport monitor. Three (four if you consider one will be dual link) is too much for a single card I think...
