Wifi

[link to this post]

Was looking at my dongle speed on 2.4ghz earlier and it was down to 13mbps. It was on channel 10 and a sky box had gone on to channel 11 so I assumed it was stomping all over my signal. Changed channel to auto (1) and it now seems ok back to 300mbps, but I also run another 2.4ghz wireless channel on auto from my router (1) again. How come my wireless router isnt stomping all over my other wireless signal on the same channel in the same location?

I don't know what routers TT are sending out. I have two close to me. Both show on Inssider to be using channels -2 to 7. Surely this can't be legal.

Thanks for the replies. It still seems to be working without any adverse effects dongle is at 216mbps on the modem wireless and Phone and PVR are both their max of 65mbps on the 2.4ghz channel 1.
