Yes, it was giving me grief literally until 30 mins before the engineer arrived (the engineer is really lovely cannot fault him at all, but that was very convenient that all of a sudden it works), it's worked mostly ok for the last couple of weeks - bar one day where once again speeds going up and down. Tonight however it's given up completely and won't do anything, when ookla speedtest doesn't fail it gives me 0.01mbps download and 131mbps upload.

Total rubbish. If it keeps up like this I hope they let me cancel my contract without penalty as this is not the sort of service I signed up for - don't get me wrong they are trying to help, but they just cannot find fault to fix it, meanwhile I'm paying for something that when it works it's amazing but is just too unreliable. Sky, although slow, had 1 outage in 4.5 years and that was BTs cabinet, not even their fault!

Thanks for the update. It certainly is unusual as we don't tend to see this type of issue here with Hyperoptic. When it works, it's usually pretty good.

Hopefully Hyperoptic have been able to do the usual things like try a new port on their local switch, swap any cabling where possible, etc. Was the engineer able to replicate the fault with their own equipment, so they can be sure it's an issue on their side?
