ZTE Modems

[link to this post]

Just heard on the news

"The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has written to UK telecoms providers warning them that the use of ZTE's equipment and services could pose a national security risk." Doesn't Hyperopic use ZTE Modems? Should we be worried here?

Hi there, thanks for asking, we completely understand your concerns but we assure you that we take the security of our customers really seriously. Not only do we vet all our suppliers, but we have an on-going program to maintain and monitor the security of our infrastructure and to ensure that all vendors equipment is configured and deployed in a secure manner according to industry best practices. We will continually monitor the situation over the coming days and will review and follow the guidance from NCSC when received.
