looking to get rid of sky

i am currently looking to get rid of sky and just go onto free view. can anyone recommend a box that's capable of recording and don't cost the earth looking to spend no more than £125 or another way of watching/recording live tv.

Being as you already have a satellite dish, you might want to look at Feeesat instead of Freeview.

Perhaps head down to your local Comet and see if there are any bargains to be had in the PVR section smile

Edit: I should add I've heard the Humax boxes are pretty decent.

My old Sky+ box still records and replays programs with an old "blue" Sky card. Worth noting that if you cancel Sky it will be only a matter of weeks at worst before you get a half price offer or better.

I would personally look into getting Freesat/Freeview and look into NOW TV as a one off payment £10 from https://shop.nowtv.com or £15 in curry's as this gives you - bbc iplayer, 4od and demand 5, spotify, facebook http://images.now.nowtv.com/Web/BSKYBMovies/%7B180d0...
