Is BBC iPlayer (downloads) / Flash / Air still gubbed?

Sorry, only being using streaming recently and I can't be bothered going through the rigmarole of testing. Excuse the laziness but thought I'd just ask - as of end Feb 2013 is the downloading version still useless?

If you want to download content from the BBC, have a look at get_iplayer - a free command line utility that'll download and convert the FLV stream into a MP4.
