Live TV flickers

..when I try to watch in full-screen mode. Is there any reason for this? I can watch recorded programmes in full screen and even HD, so it's not my system.

Streamed Live TV? Or Freeview HD or Sky HD?

Sorry, I meant when I try to watch iPlayer's live TV function on my PC. It's fine at the normal iPlayer page but won't maximise without flickering. I'm getting 70 Mb/s so it's not a connection issue.

Watching live I see nothing I would call flicker.

There are possibly some more encoding artifacts, as its a live encode which is often a lower quality than is possible on shows that are uploaded after the fact. e.g. the ticker on the bottom of BBC News channel is a little jumpy.
