SKY Droping Discovery channels

Hi dont know which section tp post this so try here

From 1 February 2017 Discovery Communicationsí portfolio of channels are unlikely to be available in Sky TV packages.

In the UK and Ireland, this includes Animal Planet, Discovery HD, Discovery History, Discovery Home & Health, Discovery Science, Discovery Shed, Discovery Turbo, DMAX, Eurosport1, Eurosport2, Investigation Discovery, Quest and TLC

Hi i heard rumers they cant agree with discovery over how much to pay for channels but this a official post on sky website they put up the prices but we are loosing so many popular channels

No, they won't. I am not sure how the finances work these days but do Discovery pay Sky to host their channels? If they do then actually Sky could justify putting prices up as they would be losing income.

They have no contractual reason to renegotiate with you.
