That's me away on the train, this forum has been so unbelievably helpful, I will try and keep on and help others the way I have been helped! See you all on the flip side

Good luck! I've just finished my second week at Yarnfield and it was a blast! Now onto my local training school in Croydon for the hands on stuff!

I posted a day by day account on my visit to Yarnfield, pretty much all that happens is you watch a lot of power point presentations and do a lot of admin very very little actual job related stuff. Its still fun though and the rooms on the whole aren't too bad.
Food is relatively good and there is a lot of it plus all you can eat desserts.
Happy hour 5 - 6 £2 a pint.

Provided the wifi is working all rooms have wifi and a tv with hdmi connection, you get a little packet of biscuits containing 2 or 3 biscuits and tea and coffee provisions in your room every day and a small kettle.

My comments are my own and represent my opinion only not that of any person or company I may have links to.

I'm also heading down next Sunday. Can't wait !! Managed to get in touch with a lad via email who's also traveling down on my train from Newcastle so atleast I've got some company for the 4 hour trek !

Can't wait to start now like. Left my old job on Friday so got a week to chill. Only waiting on my uniform (hopefully) turning up now haha

Looking forward to putting some faces to the names aswell !

Hope everyone is getting over the starting nerves. 2 weeks today and I'll be arriving at yarnfield around about this time, absolutely buzzing!!! Still not had my contract or anything yet but received my train tickets. I stay up in Dundee so obviously a long drive, so I'll obviously be driving the van home on the Friday but does anyone know if we drive the van back to training or is it back on the train? Cheers
