Yes mate! Case rammed! Got an extra hold-all as a backup as well.
Can't wait! Going miss the family (Mrs and little one) though, first away trip from them!

Yeah I didn't think we would have to but after that conference call I have just to be on the safe side. Seems pointless sending it all out really if we have to haul it all down there !! The only thing I'm not taking is both pairs of boots. They both fit perfectly and would take up half the case if I took them both so just taking the full leather ones rather than the heavy duty ones. Can't imagine it making a difference if we're going to be in a classroom environment all week with the exception of the driving assessment.

First week is classroom based only! Dont take it all unless you need to exchange it!

You will get issued PPE that you need for the week. As you need high vis to collect your van on the Friday!

Hi pal, I passed an assessment centre recently and was told what job I have been offered. Fibre jointer. Any experienced fibre jointers in here? Is it a good job? What to expect etc? I start in a few weeks. Thanks 😀

All you'll need for the first week is uniform for the day including boots and hi vis, second week you may need a little more but you'll have your van then so easier to bring it all.
There are no right or wrong on the boots some prefer the industrial looking others prefer the all leather looking ones.

I guess they tell you to bring everything just incase there are issues but I really doubt youll need more than tops and and trousers maybe hi vis but that's only for when you pick up your van.

I seem to remember reading that you needed hard hat, goggles and gloves for the kinetic lifting course but we didnt use them at all.

My comments are my own and represent my opinion only not that of any person or company I may have links to.
